The CROSS in the centre represents the Mercy Cross worn by the Sisters of Mercy who were the first teachers in the school. The BIBLE symbolises the values and message on which our school is based. The BOAT represents St Francis Xavier who was a missionary. He sailed to the East to spread the gospel and promote education. The CABLE CAR is a symbol of Mornington through which one of the cable cars in early Dunedin ran. The NEW SCHOOL BUILDINGS are a feature of our school and contribute to the attractive environment we provide for children. |
