Parent Teacher Association

The St Francis Xavier School P.T.A. is very active. Their main function is to:

• provide support for families when there is a need and to help new families become familiar with school/parish activities.

• arrange opportunities for parents and staff to socialise and share ideas.

• organise fund-raising activities, the proceeds from which support the teaching programmes in the school. These funds are in addition to those provided by the B.O.T.

• support the teaching programmes and staff, by providing opportunities for parent education when needed.

• provide hospitality at school functions and children’s celebrations.
